Here’s an important message from Lynn Matson:
We would like to honor the Class of 1967 by giving a $350 or more cash scholarship from our Class of ’67 to a worthy BHS student graduating in 2023. Classmates can write tax deductible checks to "Ballard Community Dollars for Scholars" and write “From Class of ’67” in the notes. The checks can be given to Krista Meyer Bowersox Saturday evening or send the checks to Krista by July 15. Cash is acceptable as well.

If each classmate attending donates just $10, we would reach the $350 level. I expect we will exceed the $350 level.
If each classmate donated just $200, or if one donor wanted to cover the entire amount, our class would be able to donate a $7,000 Perpetual Scholarship to provide a $350 scholarship EACH AND EVERY YEAR in the name of the Class of ‘67.
Donors are encouraged to attend the Ballard Community Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Night held each spring.
Here's a messsage from Krista (Meyer) Bowersox
Our 2019 Dollars for Scholars recipient, Sarah Stolte, received our $600 scholarship towards her pre-vet studies at Iowa State University. Our $685 remaining was divided among other donations. Now our 2017 Scholarship Donation of $1285 has been spent.
