I'm loving retirement.  Retiring after 43 years of work I truly thought I'd have a hard time adjusting.  But, 7 years into retirement, my life is very busy and I do exactly what I want.  I volunteer, exercise, enjoy my family and friends and Jim and I travel.  But, most important we babysit our two grandsons, Emmett and Vinny, twice a week.  Ben, an officer with the Ankeny Police Dept., and his wife, Jen, have the two boys.  Matt and his wife Rachel have three children and live in Roseburg, OR.  Matt is with the Oregon State Police.  Both our sons followed in Jim's footsteps.  Once a year our entire family spends a week together as a family.  Matt has lived in the West many years and we have explored many historical sites on our trips to visit him.  I love going to beaches and Jim loves going to golf courses.  My sons are in their 40's and that's harder for me to accept than my age of 68! I look forward to catching up with the Class of 67 July 1st.

Thanks, Bob and committee, for your work to assemble us. Still married to the same saint, Linda Emmert from Minburn, who undertook my rehabilitation in 1968 and yet today struggles with the project. After a few legitimate jobs I started my own computer business in 84, that's where I spend my waking hours although the critical part of this operation is now in the more capable hands of our son. Heavily involved in Rotary, International, where I enjoy surprising people that someone my age knows his way around technology. Yes, the morels are plentiful up here, although that's hard to imagine today when we struggle to get above zero outside. There is no rest for the wicked, so I see no real retirement in sight. Will probably die with my boots on. B²

Our sons Jeff and Phil have established themselves in IT careers and have settled into homes in two of the greatest Amerian cities, Minneapolis and Boston.  Phil and Adriana have a son, Clavin, 8, and a daughter, Nora, 6.  We're  retired now.  Linda and I moved to a new home in Durham, North Carolina in 2017.  Bull CiIy, baby.  We love it.
